The Laboratório de Vertebrados is strategically placed over the most austral and extense portion of Holocene sandbanks of Brazil, being coordenated by Prof. Dr. Daniel Loebmann, contemplating a Post-Doctoral research fellow, two Ph.D. students, four Graduate students and two undergraduate students. Since 2012, there have been 3 books, 1 book chapter, and 89 scientific articles published by members of the laboratory, focusing on Taxonomy, Systematics, Biogeography, Ecology and Natural History of Fishes, Amphibians, Reptiles and Mammals.
